• "Dr. Channing is an exceptional pediatric cardiologist. She is extremely competent and knowledgeable of her field. More importantly, she is able to explain complex medical term/conditions in a very clear and easy way to understand. She is also so patient and attentive. We never felt being rushed during our appointments. She alway carefully listens to us and pay attention to small things we share with her. She genuinely cares her patients and their families, which is of extreme value in today's healthcare system. She always takes time (and extra time as needed) to carefully review images from echo exams and ensure she can get the best pictures for accurate measurements. Our now two and half year daughter loves to see her. We are so grateful to have Dr. Channing as our daughter's cardiologist. Dr. Channing is the cardiologist you dream of for your child: consistently patient, thorough, committed, and an excellent communicator. I frequently went into visits nervous and uncertain and left feeling confident and that we were in good hands. When making particularly difficult decisions, Dr. Channing would tell us her recommendation as well as that of others in her practice. She also reached out to our previous cardiologist (from another state) to share her diagnosis and recommendation soon after we transitioned care. I felt like we were always in the best hands and that we had the right person helping us navigate a difficult situation. She also has excellent bedside manner with both caregivers and children and has a genuine care for her patients that is rare to find. I can't recommend her enough!"

• "When one of my twins was diagnosed with tetrology of fallot, I was devastated and terrified. I met Dr. Channing shortly after, and she supervised my sons development throughout the remainder of my pregnancy, after birth, through his first open heart surgery, and today as he is a health and active almost five year old. In the last five years, she has been exceptional doctor, and my son always looks forward to his appointments for regular follow up and scans. What stands out most about her- 1. She is kind, calming, and extremely competent- it's clear she knows her stuff and she can break it down visually so you can understand too 2. She is amazing with kids! My son never developed fear of doctors, even after undergoing major surgery and he in fact looks forward to his regular cardio appointments and seeing all the fun equipment 3. She is SUPER detail oriented- my son had a very slight narrowing of his pulmonary branch arteries which can be hard to see and she always takes extra time and attention to get perfect measurements and escalates when needed to get a better view to make sure that no opportunity for perfect care is left to chance. I would highly recommend as her blend of competency, excellence and kindness is rare in any field."

She did such a great job explaining what was happening with diagrams and used terms we could understand. She accurately determined at 28 weeks that our baby would be okay and would not need life long cardiac care.
