Aortic disease and connective tissue disorders carry risks if left unmonitored, and early diagnosis with specialized care can inform care decisions and help you plan next steps. I evaluate and manage diseases of the aorta and connective tissue conditions in children and young adults. That includes serial imaging to track the aorta and heart over time, medication management, activity guidance, and planning the transition to adult care. Some children need medication to potentially slow progression; others need surgery. I explain the options and coordinate with surgeons when surgery is the right step.
I provide pediatric and fetal cardiology expertise in Vista and North County San Diego - including Carlsbad, Oceanside, Encinitas, San Marcos, Solana Beach, and Del Mar and beyond. No referral is needed and appointments are available within one day to one week.
