Coeur Pediatric Cardiology is committed to making our website usable by the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is part of how we think about patient experience, and we treat it as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
Standard we aim for
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive differences.
Ongoing efforts
We review our site periodically for accessibility and address issues as we identify them. We use automated accessibility testing tools, including Google Lighthouse, along with manual testing using keyboard navigation and screen-reader software, to help ensure our site works for all users. Because our website is updated over time, and because automated testing cannot catch all accessibility issues, some content may not yet fully meet our target standard. We welcome reports of any barriers you encounter.
