Services & pricing
Care that's clearly priced, gently delivered.
Knowing what care will cost, before you book, can help you plan and focus on your visit. All fees are direct-pay and published below. Read more about how direct specialty care works. I serve families throughout North County San Diego, including Vista, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, San Marcos, Solana Beach, and Del Mar.
Complete Financial Clarity
Every service I perform in my office has a clear, published price—explained and agreed upon before we proceed with any testing.
A Note on External Services: All in-office consultation, evaluation, and diagnostic testing fees are fully transparent and listed below. If your child's care requires external services (such as a heart rhythm monitor mailed to your home, outside laboratory processing, specialized genetic testing, or hospital-based imaging), those items are billed separately by the facility or vendor providing them.

Limited-time offer
Founding-Patient Pricing
As I open my practice, I am offering a founding-patient rate on new-patient visits scheduled on or before December 1, 2026:
Complete review of your child's medical records. Focused time with me to review your child's history, symptoms, and any outside findings. It includes a physical exam, vital signs, ECG (heart rhythm test), and a detailed echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) I perform and read myself, and a clear plan for what comes next.
Complete review of your child's medical records. Focused time with me to review your child's history, symptoms, and any outside findings. It includes a physical exam, vital signs, ECG (heart rhythm test), and a clear plan for what comes next.
A detailed review of your history followed by a comprehensive evaluation of your baby's heart before birth (fetal heart ultrasound), performed and interpreted by me, with time to walk you through what I see and what it means for your pregnancy and delivery.
This visit includes one complimentary follow-up fetal echocardiogram and consultation if technical limitations prevent a complete study on a first-time, suspected-normal fetal echo.
These rates are available for new patients who schedule an appointment on or before December 1, 2026. All other services remain at the published rates below.
For infants, children, teens, and young adults
Pediatric Services
Comprehensive in-person evaluations, electrocardiograms (ECG or heart rhythm test), echocardiograms (heart ultrasound) for newborns through young adults, performed and interpreted by me.
New Patient Visit
Complete review of prior records, vital signs, physical examination, ECG (heart rhythm test), discussion of findings, and a detailed echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) I perform and interpret myself, in one visit.
Complete review of prior records, vital signs, physical examination, ECG (heart rhythm test), and discussion of findings. Does not include an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound).
Follow-Up Visit
Follow-up vital signs, physical examination, ECG (heart rhythm test), discussion of findings, and a focused echocardiogram (heart ultrasound) I perform and interpret myself, in one visit.
Follow-up vital signs, ECG (heart rhythm test), physical examination, and discussion of findings. Does not include an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound).
Prenatal heart imaging
Fetal Services
A detailed ultrasound of your baby's heart during pregnancy, typically performed between 18 and 22 weeks' gestation, or earlier when indicated.
New Patient Visit
Complete review of prior records, initial fetal echocardiogram and interpretation, including consultation - this is one bundled fee, with no separate echocardiogram charge.
One complimentary follow-up echocardiogram and consultation are included if technical factors prevent complete imaging during an initial scan that is suspected to be normal. If a fetal echo shows a suspected abnormality, follow-up is planned individually as part of your ongoing care, since these evaluations are more detailed and often require a different schedule.
Follow-Up Visit
Fetal echocardiogram, interpretation, and consultation - one bundled fee, with no separate echocardiogram charge
For patients in California
Telemedicine
Available for patients physically located in California at the time of their visit.
Telemedicine works for two situations:
- Second opinion review only, if you want my interpretation of prior records, imaging reports, or testing without a comprehensive in-person evaluation.
- A starting point for discussion, if you want to talk through symptoms or findings before deciding on an in-person visit - especially if you live far away or have a young child.
Telemedicine is not a substitute for a comprehensive cardiac evaluation. See the Telemedicine page for full details.
New Patient Consultation
Follow-Up Consultation
If you complete a telehealth New Patient Consultation and later come in for an in-person visit, that visit is billed at the Follow-Up Consultation rate, not the New Patient rate. Because it would be your child's first echocardiogram with me, if one is performed at that visit it is billed at the Initial Echocardiogram rate.
Additional evaluations
Other Services
7-day or 14-day monitor: interpretation and report (when clinically indicated and ordered as part of a visit, in person or telehealth. This service is not available on its own).
This fee is for my interpretation. The monitoring company will send a separate bill to your home for the heart rhythm monitor device and service.
If you would like me to review the actual images (echocardiogram, cardiac CT, or cardiac MRI), I will provide an independent interpretation in advance and discuss it during your visit. Please note there is a $450 fee for each outside study reviewed.
Written reports from outside facilities are reviewed and discussed as part of your visit at no additional charge. This service is added to an initial or follow-up visit, in person or telehealth, and is not available on its own.
